The Antelope Valley Archaeological Society is an avocational, educational, and scientific organization dedicated to the interests of archaeology in the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas.
General meetings are normally held on the third Monday of every month, except for July and August. Location for the 2010-2011 year TBD.
Upcoming Scheduled Events:
Summer Lecture Series 2010 - We will be organizing carpools to the evening lectures sponsored by the Tehachapi Museum. Lectures are $15 per person or $40 for the entire series.

AVAS members wishing to carpool should meet at the northeast corner of the Cinemark 22 theater parking lot at 5:00 PM.
September 11th, 2010, 5:00 PM - Annual AVAS Potluck/BBQ at the Lazy T Ranch on Lake Elizabeth Road. Jay Tremblay will generously supply chicken, "Roger" dogs and drinks. Bring a side dish to share!
